Panasonic brought a new rugged tablet to MWC 2017, the ToughBook CF-33, a 2 in 1 model that runs on Windows 10. Seeing how big this machine is, a “laptop” is a more accurate description for it. It’s got a 12 inch screen with a 3:2 aspect and more goodies, detailed below.
There’s a Quad HD resolution offered here and special 1200 cd/m2 brightness for improved outdoor use. an IP55 digitizer pen with Windows Ink is also thrown in for good measure and inside there’s a 7th gen Intel Core CPU. The machine weighs 2.761 kg in laptop mode, while the detachable tablet weighs 1.527 kg. On board we find a 2 megapixel webcam with stereo microphones and an 8 MP main cam too.
Panasonic’s Toughbook CF-33 comes with a 4G LTE option, as well as a high end GPS system. It has USB 3.0 connectivity, HDMI, LAN, microSDXC and audio jack too. the price for the machine is $4099 with keyboard and $3499 without. It becomes available in May in USA and in Europe it’ll come in Q2 this year, with a 3552 euro price tag in laptop mode.
The tablet only is 2992 euros.
