Samsung debuted the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 in Vietnam and these models stand out through their ultraslim waistlines. They’re less than 6 mm in thickness and rely on Super AMOLED screens.
Fingerprint scanners are on board, as well as 3 GB of RAM on both models and Android 5.0 Lollipop as the OS. They also share the same resolution, of 2048 x 1536 pixels and the same back camera with 8 MP resolution. The 9.7 inch model offers a 5 MP front shooter, while the 8 inch model offers a 2.1 MP selfie camera.
GPS, Glonass and WiFi are also here, plus 32 GB of storage, microSD card slots and 5870 mAh/4000 mAh batteries. The 9.7 inch model costs $629, while the 8 inch one goes for $529. Both measure 5.6 mm in thickness and the smaller one weighs 272 grams, while the 9.7 inch one weighs 392 grams.
