It’s interesting to see that some publishers are readying their content for a product that doesn’t even exist yet. This is also the case of Conde Nast, that publishes Wired Magazine and it seems that the company is preparing its content for Apple’s upcoming device.
The magazines will be formatted just like the digital edition of GQ magazine (going for $3 in the App Store). Conde is already working on turning digital its 18 titles, formatting them for the new tablet. Each edition will go for sale separately and we learn that Adobe is also on board with this project, so we expect other publications to follow soon.
The info comes a couple of weeks after the head of New York Times accidentally mentioned an “Apple Slate”.
