There’s a fresh leak in town, one that may confirm that 2015 will bring us a bigger iPad. Known as the iPad Pro or the iPad Air Plus, the 12+ inch Apple slate has leaked once or twice before, but today it reveals a new face of itself.
The images shown here supposedly captured by a worker from a Foxconn factory. The employee says that the components are entering production, after last summer Apple did some testing of a preliminary prototype. The leakster claims the iPad Pro will measure somewhere between 6.9 mm and 7.5 mm in thickness and confirmed there will be 4 integrated speakers on the device.
The same source had sent out in February 2014 some images of the iPhone 6, in sketch phase, so the leakster has credentials. We take all of these with a huge grain of salt and expect future leaks in the months to come. The 12.2 or 12.9 inch iPad Air plus is said to be released this Spring, maybe together with the Apple Watch.
