It appears that Samsung wants to one up Apple, since the iPhone 6 models are coming to 115 countries by the year end. Well, Samsung intends to debut the Galaxy Note 4 in no less than 140 countries by the end of October.
Meanwhile, last year, the Galaxy Note 3 went on sale in over 100 countries in a single day. Now Samsung wants a similar launch time frame for its follow up, with even more products. The 5.7 inch Quad HD phablet was unveiled at IFA 2014 and it was made available on preorder on a few carriers and retailers in South Korea. It will start selling locally from the 26th and then around mid October it will be released in more countries.
In the US this product will be sold on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular. With the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 already moving 10 million units in the first weekend, it will be a serious handicap to catch up for Samsung now. I’ll remind you the Samsung phablet comes with a Snapdragon 805 CPU in some countries, while others, like South Korea get an octa core Exynos 5433 processor.
