LG unveiled this week a new series of tablets from the G Pad range, but didn’t mention any specs at the time. Now we’ve uncovered at least one of the new model’s specs, the LG G Pad 7.0, that’s shown below.
The device packs a Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1 GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The details were revealed by the benchmark app AnTuTu, that also mentions the codename V400 for this model. The LG G Pad 7.0 has a chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz, an Adreno 305 GPU, 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and a 1.3 MP front camera, plus a 3.2 MP back camera. Finally, it relies on 8 GB of storage and probably has a microSD card slot.
This model sounds like it could be a hit, only if priced below $300 or even $250, if LG is bold enough to do that. I’m also curious about its measurements, since it looks like a pretty slim device. Don’t expect anything other than plastic for the case, though…
