We already knew that from the words of famous analyst Ming Chi Kuo, but another source doesn’t hurt! It appears that Apple will integrate Touch ID sensors on the new 2014 iPads, according to some new reports.

TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) has provided the first batch of fingerprint sensors to Apple in the middle of April. They were meant for the iPhone 6, the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3. The leak comes from sources within the semiconductor business, so it sounds legit. Photos that showed up months ago also confirmed there will be an iPad Mini or bigger slate with a Touch ID sensor integrated in the Home button.

Also, there’s small fragment of iOS 7.1 code confirming this feature. This could all remain speculation, but what if it’s not? Apple is said to only do minor upgrades to its iPads this year, like a more powerful back camera, fingerprint scanner and maybe a CPU and RAM bump. What do you think of these changes?
