The lovely folks of Mobilegeeks.de took part in the CeBIT 2014 event, recording some hands on clips of very interesting slates, some of them not even shown at MWC. One of those newcomers is the Ramos i12, a tablet with a 11.6 inch display and Android on board.

This model uses an Intel Atom processor to run Android 4.2.2 and this product is one of those courageous new devices that ignores the 7/8 inch slate trend. Ramos is a brand we’re actually familiar with, since they’re the ODM for a few of the Eastern European products we’ve reviewed over the past year. The Ramos i12 is supposed to be some sort of follow-up to the Ramos i10 tablet and it increases the diagonal a little bit.

The display is a Full HD IPS and under the hood we’ve got an Intel Clover Trail+, which is an Intel Atom Z2580, a 32 bit 2 GHz chipset. Accompanying it are 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, while at the back we find a 5 megapixel camera and upfront a 2 megapixel shooter. Finally there’s a mini DisplayPort in the mix as well, a micro USB port and microSD card slot.

The product has an aluminum chassis and weighs 765 grams.
