This week the Armenian officials announced the debut of an Armenian-American tablet PC, that’s shown below. The device is named Armtab and it’s developed by Armenian-American company Technology and Science Dynamics Inc.

The device was tested in varied formats, like 7.85 inch, 9 and 9.7 inches, as well as 10.1 inches and some units came with 3G by default. There’s also an Armenian phone in the making apparently. The software design and tech support will be offered from Armenia, while assembly of the devices will take place in USA and Hong Kong.

Mass production and sale of the slates will begin next year and the price tag of the Armtab will range from $200-$280 with 1 year of warranty service. There will be 16 GB models available and sadly we have no info on the specs of the device. I expect something like a Cortex A7 quad core inside…
