Today the Romanian brand Allview announced the launch of a new tablet with a quad core CPU, the Allview 2 Speed Quad. This device is compatible with Miracast technology and it runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

2Speed Quad

It features a quad core 1 GHz CPU and a battery that should provide about 7 hours of functioning time, which is a lot for an Allview slate. The CPU is a Cortex A7 and we’ve also got two cameras on board, one at the front and one at the back. The device scores over 20k points in AnTutu and a new feature offered on this product is the Dual Display option.

If you connect the tablet with the aid of a Smart2View adapter to a HDMI TV you can watch a movie on your TV and use a different app on your device. The product is available in black or white and it’s priced at about $200, or $230 with the bundled wireless display adapter Smart2View. This tablet measures 9.8 mm in thickness, weighs 473.8 grams and supports a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution on an 8 inch display.

We’ve also got 8 GB of storage, 1 GB of DDR3 RAM on board and a microSD card slot.
