The Nexus 7 2013 edition launched with a problem or two, especially since its screen kept having multitouch issues. Google and ASUS put their heads together to issue a special update, that came after an initial update of the device. Well, turns out the JSS15Q update didn’t do much about the problem…

Users were reporting screen glitches with multitouch. They had trouble with pinch to zoom on maps, double taps on buttons while typing and that sort of things. Some of the Nexus 7 2013 owners are even saying the issues are worse now, after the update. Early last week Google issued the updated Android 4.3 build JSS15Q for the product, promising to fix multitouch problems.

Users on various communities have confirmed that the update fixed their issues, but there are still people unhappy with their devices. The bad part is that people who had no problem whatsoever are now reporting that the update trigged those multitouch glitches. Ghost touches, bad detection of touch or direction while sliding and other calibration issues have all been mentioned.

So, does your Nexus 7 2013 have issues and what sort are they?
