Here’s a new twist in the series of rumors related to Galaxy Note III. We’ve heard over the last 24 hours that initially the Galaxy Note III initially had a 5.99 inch version, that was canned in favour of the 5.7 inch version we’ll see in September. Apparently, it’s not quite so…
Zauba, a database that tracks India’s import and export shipments has tracked 3 different codenames associated to different diagonal versions of the Note III. The phablet is shown with a 5.5 inch, 5.7 inch and 6 inch display and those were shipped to India for R&D purpose. There are a lot of codenames mentioned: SM-N900A, SM-N900AI, SM-N900P, SM-N900R4, SM-N900S, SM-N900T and SM-N900V.
The differences are not that clear, but some models were tagged with multiple screen sizes and offered with various connectivity options. IFA 2013 in Berlin will bring us the final details regarding the phablet, that has been speculated today to have 3 GB of RAM.
