Pipo just launched a brand new quad core tablet, dubbed Max M6 and packing a quad core Cortex A9 processor and a Retina Display. This device supports a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and relies on a 4:3 IPS panel.
Its screen is a capacitive multitouch unit with 10 points of touch and inside we find a Rockchip 3188 Cortex A9 1.6 GHz processor with a quad core GPU. There’s also 2 GB of DDR3 RAM on board, Android 4.1 as the OS (with the promise of Android 4.2 update) and a front 2 megapixel camera, as well as a back 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.
On the connectivity side we’ve got WiFi, optional 3G and Bluetooth 4.0. This tablet has a battery capacity of 10.000 mAh and its maker promises about 8 hours of HD video playback and 5-7 hours of gaming. Finally, the Pipo Max M6 features a microSD card slot, mini HDMI output and gyroscope.
