The Archos Arnova 101 G4 is one of the many tablets that the French company Archos makes and this product was apparently detailed in December and gone MIA since. Now the folks of Notebook Italia have uncovered it in some Italian web store and even found some official specs for it.
The G4 will be available starting with July 8th, priced at 169 euros, even though there are some Italian shops that offer a price tag of 99 euros. This device will be a budget slate with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a dual core ARM Cortex A9 CPU at 1.2 GHz, with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. There will also be a 4 GB and 16 GB version of this model.
Archos Arnova 101 G4 packs a 10.1 inch display with a res of 1024 x 600 pixels and it comes with a microSD card slot. There’s WiFi on board, a mini HDMI port, two micro USB 2.0 ports (one for charging) and it’s important to mention that this product totally lacks a camera, both front and back. As far as benchmarks go, the G1 scores 2938 points in Quadrant, 45 FPS in NenaMark (decent), and 7989 in AnTuTu (reasonable).
