Trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities issued a note to clients, that includes some of the predicted specs for the next Nexus generation of tablet. With Google I/O just a week away (or less), it’s time to see some speculations, rumors and leaks.

So, it turns out that Google and ASUS are still making the device through a partnership, but this time the specs will be really juicy. The OEM of the product is Quanta and the CPU inside it is a quad core Snapdragon, while the display is a 7 inch LTPS with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. There’s also WiFi on board, a 4000 mAh battery and wireless charging support with the QI standard.

There’s also talk about the possibility of keeping the price below the $200 mark, just like the first Nexus 7. The analyst also thinks that Google may subsidize the ASUS production in order to reach a $5 to $10 a pop at this price point.
