Back in April Samsung announced one of the Galaxy Tab 3 series members, the 7 inch model and now they’re preparing to debut the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 model as well. According to Dutch site TechTastic, there’s an 8 inch tablet that’s been discovered in the GLBenchmark database.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is already known to get the model number SM-T211, so the SM-T311 discovered this week could be the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. The leaked benchmark claims that the product comes with an 8 inch WXVGA 1280 x 800 pixel display, a dual core 1.5 GHz Exynos 4412 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 4500 mAh battery and an ARM Mali 400 GPU.

The device will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, with the Samsung TouchWiz UI on top of it. We expect the new Galaxy Tab 3 model to be announced pretty soon, perhaps with the rumored Galaxy Tab 3 Plus and its specs that would make the Nexus 10 jealous. Back to the 8.0 unit, it’s supposed to pack a 3 MP cam at the back, 1.3 MP front cam and measures 6.95 mm in thickness.
