The widespread rumors about Applețs plans for this year all seem to come to the same conclusion. It is the year when the manufacturer will announce its 5th generation iPad tablet, and also a new iPhone – likely the 5S and with improved hardware characteristics.
What the new iPad might bring in terms of specs is still unclear, though we do know that the device is likely more powerful the the current gen. The device has been leaked through components before and we even have seen a casing made for it, allegedly after the official specs.
It is said that the iPad 5 will feature a screen size that is the same as the current gen. It will have a slimmer body after the same design and it will be lighter. Once source has even managed to get a hands on the devices rear casing. The alleged component looks identical to the one from the current device. The new iPad is supposed to offer a 9.7-inch display and powered by the very fast Apple A7X chip with PowerVR graphics.
