A brand called Digma recently introduced a new tablet called the iDj 7 3G, a low cost product with Android 4.0 on board. This is a 7 inch touchscreen-based slate with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and weighing only 300 grams. It has built in 3G and WiFi and it looks like this:

The tablet features dual cameras, one at the front, with a 0.3 megapixel resolution and one at the back with 2 megapixels in resolution. Digma iDj7 also comes with preinstalled programs, that allow working with documents and according to the manufacturer the device has an e-reading app as well, plus it allows one to watch movies and listen to music (don’t they all?).

The design of the Digma iDj7 kind of reminds me of the Amazon Kindle Fire and I’m wondering if Quanta Computer had any involvement with this, since they’re the manufacturer of the Kindle Fire and of the BlackBerry PlayBook, if I’m not mistaking.
