Talk about crazy good prices… Hyundai T7 is a quad core Exynos-chip based slate that’s selling for the very low price tag of $166. We’ve seen Tegra 3 devices with low prices, but this beats everything. Imagine that the Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III have quad core Exynos CPUs, so the performance is guaranteed.
Hyundai is most likely not the same company that makes cars and this is a name coincidence, as far as I know. We’re dealing with a 7 inch slate here with a 1.4 GHz quad core Samsung Exynos 4412 processor, available on PandaWill for $166. It seems that the device has the exact same CPU as the one inside Samsung Galaxy S III, but this doesn’t mean we also get the same performance or build quality.
Hyundai T7 uses Mali 400 graphics, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels with 178 viewing angles, so not bad. There’s also a 5 point multitouch display included, a 2 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front shooter. We also have HDMI and microUSB on board. The tablet runs Android 4.0 ICS and relies on a G Sensor, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi. Powering them all up is a 3000 mAh battery with 4 hours of run time. I have to say this sounds like a major deal for all buyers…
