Sharp seems to also be a part of the tablet business, having recently announced a Linux-based model with a 5 inch screen, the NetWalker PC-T1. This widescreen device weighs a mere 280 grams and it comes with electronic dictionaries, an online store (for new dictionaries and e-books), plus support for handwritten text input.
The Sharp tablet’s specs list includes a Freescale Semiconductor i.MX515 processor, 512MB of memory, 8GB of Flash memory, a microSD card slot, WiFi support and Bluetooth 2.1. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack on board, a USB 2.0 port and a miniUSB 2.0 one.
