The iPad Mini has been rumored for over 6 months now and it’s bound to happen at some point, if all the recent leaks are to be believed. Also, there’s speculation that the model will actually debut in the coming weeks in a special Apple event, with a launch in stores scheduled for November. Till that happens, we’ve got some Gizmodo mockups of the iPad Mini shown below.

Martin Hajek is the creator of the designs, fitting the previous leaks, rumors, components and cases reaching the web. Hajek is the same guy who created very accurate iPhone 5 concept designs before the device was launched, so we’re inclined to follow his position on this product. There’s a very good chance that the real 7.85 inch iPad will look just like this, with rounded corners, dual speakers at the bottom, Lightning port, discrete upper right corner camera and a black/white version.

The only thing that doesn’t seem right here are the bezels, that are a bit bigger than those ultraslim ones we’ve seen in previous leaks, but maybe it’s just the pictures’ resolution tricking me. Anyway Martin did a great job and I’m looking forward to the first iPhone 6 designs appearing on the web as well…
