E-book readers launched in Asia have the habit of coming out with weird names and this is also the case of the Biscuit, an e-reader made by Interpark. The latter is an important Korean shopping company and we learn that the 3G device is similar to the Amazon Kindle, but it sports a different keyboard layout, with the core navigation buttons below the display.
Biscuit supports downloads for ebooks and newspapers, it packs a 6 inch E-ink 600 x 800 pixel display, showing 8 levels of grayscale and its specs list also includes 4GB of internal memory. There’s also a battery on board, that’ll last for up to 9,000 page turns, maybe with the wireless turned off.
Among the supported formats on this e-book reader we spotted: Adobe PDF, MS Office (doc, ppt, xls etc), TXT, BMP, JPG, MP3 and many more. Interpark Biscuit is on sale in Korea right now, for $350 and about 25,000 titles are available on it.
