Barnes & Noble Nook reader has just become official and there’s even a price tag attached to it, $259. The device features dual touchscreens, wireless connectivity via WiFi and AT&T 3G wireless. The battery life is pretty decent, with 10 days of life with a 3.5 hour charge.

Nook’s specs are pretty impressive, to be honest and among them you’ll find 2GB of internal storage, an MP3 player, microSD card slot, microUSB, a 3.5mm audio jack and the above mentioned dual screen. The latter includes a Vizplex e-ink display on the upper side and a 3.5 inch color LCD touchscreen at the bottom.

The same reader will allow users to share books for 14 days, even on computers on cellphones, not just other Nook units. Expect Barnes & Noble’s product to ship till the end of November.
