Samsung has just revealed an interesting phablet/huge media player of sorts called Galaxy player 5.8. This device features a 5.8 inch 16:9 display and looks very much like the Galaxy S III, aside from the extra speaker at the bottom. More details are available after the break.
The device features mDNIe (Mobile Digital Natural Engine) and runs Android 4.0 ICS, plus it features SoundAlive, Bluetooth 4.0, front speakers and WiFi. ChatON and a 2500 mAh battery are also on board, as well as that Learning Hub, that brings forth content from various South Korean content providers. No idea how this device will be priced or when it will be available, but what’s clear is that Sammy wants to market this device starting with next month.
Other specs include a TFT LCD panel for the display, a qHD resolution, a 3 megapixel camera, 16/32GB storage versions, microSD card slot from what I see on the screen support for ChatOn and Samsung Apps. A price would be interesting here…
