Toshiba Excite 10 has just reached FCC for testing purposes and it appears that it’s ready for a May debut in the USA for $450. The slate also has a product page published at the FCC and the bulk of the details are hidden behind a confidentiality request. However, what we do know is that the Excite 10 model will have a couple of versions.

There’s an Excite 10 AT305 mentioned in the documents and an Excite 10 AT300, too, both with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth. The slate is manufactured by Taiwanese OEM Pegatron and aside from these 10 inchers, Toshiba intends to release a 7.7 inch and 13 inch device in June. All of them will be packing quad core processors (Tegra 3), if I’m not mistaking. Last I heard, the Toshiba Excite 10 featured a TFT 10.1 inch display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, while the Excite 7.7 relied on the AMOLED solution for better image clarity.

The Excite 10 will be released in a 16 GB version first, the one with the $450 price tag and I supposed you’ll pay an extra of around $20 or so for every increase in storage. The Excite 13 will be priced at $650 and the Excite 7.7 at $500. Interested in any one of them?
