A couple of days ago we saw a benchmark showing us details about a mystery ASUS TF300T tablet, seen by many as a cheaper little brother for the original Transformer Prime. Now we have a table that comes from Poland and compares the TF300T with other tablet models. It appears that this newcomer packs a quad core Tegra 3 CPU and supports a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution on a 10 inch display.

The info comes from Polish site Tabletowo.pl, that mentions some differences between the ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 and the TF300T. For one, thing, the TF300T only offers 16GB of internal storage, unlike the 32/64GB on the TF201, brings the same 8MP camera and a battery that last about an hour less. Also, the new device is heavier, at 640 grams, in comparison to the OG unit, at 582 grams. There’s also a difference in waistline, with the TF300T sitting at 9.9mm, while the TF201 was really thin, at 8.3mm.

The pricing info isn’t known just yet, but considering this model is rumored to be cheaper than the Prime, I expect the amount to be under $499, maybe something like $450 or $400. I have to remind you that there’s yet another version of the tablet, the TF700T, but this one is upgraded to a 1900 x 1200 display and it’s supposed to be running on a dual core Qualcomm CPU instead of the Tegra3  CPU. That’s an odd choice ,if you ask me…
