While we thought that the Galaxy Mega devices area big, turns out you can go even bigger. The Hisense X1 for example is a 6.8 inch smartphone, that blurs the line between tablet and phone and it’s even coming to the US this summer.

The device was introduced at CES 2014 and it’s pretty much a tablet pretending to be a phone. The X1 will debut in China before the US and it features the high end specs you’d expect, including a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 13 megapixel camera, 1080p IPS display, a 3900 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. The battery is kind of small for such high end specs, to be honest.

Everyone who handled the device at CES claims it moves swiftly through menus and general tasks and that its view angles are excellent. There’s a slight customization of the Android experience here, but you almost can’t notice it. The device’s case is made of plastic, so don’t expect any type of hardcore metal shell here.

Apparently, the device manages to fit in the palm somehow, which is good for such a diagonal.
