UK retailer HMV is assuming that they will sell the 32 GB Nexus 7 with Android 4.2, which may prove to be a wrong assumption, but it’s a promoted via the newspaper ad shown below. While Android 4.2 should arrive soon for this tablet, the OS that was just announced at the beginning of the week has yet to be finalized and released as update.
You won’t find this OS preinstalled on any tablets in store shelves, including the new version of Nexus 7, with 32 GB of storage. I have to remind you that on November 13th Google plans to launch both the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 and they may start offering Android 4.2 Jelly Bean updates around the same time. Nexus 4 is a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro phone made by LG, while the Nexus 10 is a Samsung tablet with a huge resolution, great Exynos CPU, rounded shape and Android 4.2 on board.
Of course, HMV may be right to promote this with Android 4.2 in case they will sell them at the end of November or something, when the product bought by the user will get the update right after connecting to WiFi, I guess…
