Reputed analyst Ming Chi Kuo has got to be the most reliable source, when it comes to Apple-related predictions and today he has something to say about new iPads. Since the iPhones are getting OLED panels next year, it seems very likely that the iPads will too.
In the meantime, 2017 will bring us a 10.5 inch iPad Pro, fitting between the 12.9 inch one and the 9.7 inch iPad Pro we have right now. It’ll probably combine work and play and plant the final nail in the coffin of the iPad Air. 2018 will bring us the first OLED iPad, something that makes sense, seeing how Apple is bringing this tech more and more into its portofolio.
We’ve got it on the Apple Watch, on the MacBook Pro 2016 soon and on the 2017 iPhones, if everything goes well.
