We’ve heard about the Yarvik brand before, when we tested a slate with this branding and were not exactly impressed by its potential. It appears that a retailer from Poland had special New Year’s Eve 2012 prices and products and by mistake some of them were even sold for zero dollars. Now apparently there’s been another mistake, one that makes this Yarvik slate priced at $220.

The Xenta 10-201 Tab is the model we’re talking about, an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean slate, with a dual core Cortex A9 processor at 1.6 GHz and quad core Mali 400 GPU, plus 1 GB of RAM. It also has a 10.1 inch IPS screen with a pretty good resolution: 1280 x 800 pixels, while other specs include Bluetooth 4.0, a 6000 mAh battery and 2 megapixel camera. There’s also a webcam upfront, WiFi, microUSB port, mini HDMI and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Before you get too excited about this (if you live in Poland), you must know that the retailer that has this good offer also includes some reviews from buyers. Well, said buyers seem unhappy with the retailer and some with the product, so until we see this device rebranded (maybe as a Romanian Allview, just like before), we can’t really advise you to do the purchase.
