If you thought Android gaming consoles are a fad, well they’re not and they come in all shapes and sizes. It’s not uncommon to also see the occasional Android gaming phone or tablet, so there’s that. Such a newcomer is the Unu tablet, shown below and priced at $200.


This device is both a gaming device and a slate and originally it was meant to be released this summer, but now it’s coming in fall. We’re dealing with a 7 inch tablet with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, dual cameras (2 MP front, 5 MP back), 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, HDMI output, USB ports and a microSD card slot.

Said card slot supports up to 64 GB in extra storage and the device comes in two editions. One is the Media Edition, at $200 and the other a Gaming Edition with a controller, as shown above. f course, you probably shouldn’t expect the same quality as the one of an Archos gaming tablet.
