Ulefone is a brand we’ve gotten accustomed to associate with rugged phones, but they also make rugged tablets, by the way. One of their upcoming such model is the Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro, a rugged tablet with a gigantic battery.
The Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro packs a 33.280 mAh battery, which will be able to charge via an USB-C port at up to 66W. The battery has an advertised standby time of 1812 hours and a talk time of 181 hours. It also supports reverse wired charging, working as a sort of huge power bank. The Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro will integrate a 10.36 inch 1200p 60 Hz display, with a top brightness of 500 nits and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It’s most likely an LCD display. There are some compromises, like using only Android 13, with Android 15 on the horizon in a month, plus relying on the older MediaTek MT8788 processor, together with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Those can be expanded by up to 2 TB via microSD. There’s also a 32 megapixel camera, with a Samsung S5KGD1SP sensor upfront and a 50 MP main camera with a Samsung S5KGN1SP unit at the back.
The rugged slate will also bring very powerful camping lights at the back, with 1100 lumens available. They can be turned off quickly via a dedicated button on the left side frame. There’s also a customizable key and a HDMI port. Other features include a 3.5 mm audio jack, a side placed fingerprint scanner, dual SIM card slots and NFC.
The body is IP69K/IP68 certified and also certified within the MIL-STD-810 standard. It all weighs around 1.2 kilograms. In the retail package you’ll find something odd: a screwdriver and a hand strap. Ulefone will also sell a rotating stand for the device, a multi function tag and an external Bluetooth speaker.
The product will be sold on AliExpress from May 13th with a recommended price of $300.
