Texet is a company that sells tech products in Russia and they’ve just introduced a new slate locally, dubbed X-Pad NAVI 8.2 3G. Also known as the TM-7859, this model has a pretty interesting texture at the back.
It adopts a criss cross line pattern and the overall vibe feels a bit like a Nexus 7. Inside we find a quad core MediaTek MT8382 processor, with Cortex A7 technology and a clock rate of 1.3 GHz. This model has all the needed wireless modules, including 3G, WiFi and AGPS. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and its back is covered with a soft touch layer.
The slate measures 9.7 mm in thickness and weighs 311 grams. The screen you can see here is an 8 incher, with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, while the panel shown here is an IPS. At the back we’ve got a 2 megapixel main camera and upfront a 0.3 MP front shooter. The battery inside is a 4000 mAh unit, that can offer up to 7 hours of video playback.
The product is priced at $141 locally.
