Alkotel is apparently an electronics brand operating in Russia and launching tablets under the teXet brand. The latest such product is the teXet TM-7024, an affordable 7 inch slate that belongs in the entry level line and it packs a capacitive TFT LCD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio.
Its resolution is 800 x 480 pixels and the teXet TM-7024 runs Android 4.0.4 ICS and packs a 3D accelerated Boxchip A13 (Cortex A8) processor clocked at 1 GHz. There’s also 4 GB of user memory, a microSD card slot, WiFi, G Sensor and a front 0.3 megapixel camera. The battery capacity here is 3200 mAh and we also get a special 3D interface shown on the 7 inch panel.
This here is a dubbed a “shell interface”, that shows time, weather, calendar, alarms, emails and Yandex Russian services. The tablet also has e-reading features and the only thing we don’t know about is the battery life. As far as the pricing goes, you have to pay about $109 for this device and once again it’s only available in Russia for now.
