Teclast is one of the more prolific B-brands from China when it comes to tablet makers and now they have a new device to offer us. It’s the Teclast T50, which is available for purchase with some quite decent specs. Those include a large amount of storage and a good amount of RAM.
The device once again resembles a Lenovo P tablet and comes with an UNISOC processor, plus 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It’s an 11 inch machine, that uses an IPS LCD panel with slim bezels. It also has slightly rounded edges, for a more elegant appearance. It also uses a CNC cut unibody design, with a flush backplate, with no visible antenna lines. The top bezels hosts the front camera, while the main camera is placed in the upper right back corner.
It’s very slim and very light, at 7.5 mm and 510 grams. Teclast promises up to 350 nits of brightness, delivers a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution on a 2K display and also offers a 20 MP back back camera, believe it or not. The front one is an 8 MP shooter. The processor used here is an UNISOC Tiger T618, which was also found on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 this year. It’s accompanied by 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and an SD card.
There’s also a 7500 mAh battery in the mix, with 18W Fast Charging. For acoustics we get a quad speaker system. It all runs on Android 11 OS with a custom skin and intuitive UI. The list of specs is rounded up by 4G, dual SIM support, an USB-C port, a reset button. We don’t have a price yet, but $250 is a safe bet.
