Teclast is a secondary brand from China, known for making affordable tablets, budget models for everyone. Now they’ve released a new tablet under the M series. The Teclast M50 is a standard version of the Teclast M50 Pro from August.

Teclast M50 features a metal body and comes in a single turquoise color version. It also measures 8 mm in thickness and weighs 450 grams. It packs a 10.1 inch display and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The LCD screen offers a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and we also have Widevine L1 certification for streaming apps.

The tablet relies on an Unisoc T606 processor, paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. As far as the software goes, it runs on Android 13. On the connectivity side of things, there’s dual SIM slots here, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS and USB-C. We also receive dual stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm audio jack, plus a microSD card slot.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the device packs a 13 megapixel shooter at the back and we also find a 5 MP sensor upfront. There’s no fingerprint scanner here. Finally, the battery is a 6000 mAh unit. The product is priced at just $80 in China, which sounds excellent. However, the global version is $179.99.
