If you’re in India these days, you can go ahead and pick a new interesting tablet from Swipe Telecom. The device is called Swipe Slate Pro and it comes with a 9.7 inch IPS display and a price tag of just $169.
We’re dealing with a slate that does voice calling and offers support for 3G connectivity. It relies on a quad core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and Android 4.4 KitKat as the OS. This model has a 2 megapixel rear camera, a 0.3 MP front shooter and a 6400 mAh battery. There’s a SIM card slot on board and Swipe has partnered with Snapdeal in order to sell the device.
The screen on board is an IPS one with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and internally we find 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot. Swipe Slate Pro has FM radio and it’s just 8.8 mm thick. It weighs 613 grams and offers GPS and Bluetooth too, not only 3G. Retailer Snapdeal will cut a few dozens of dollars from its price for a discount lasting a few days.
