Many carriers and retailers have started preparations for the Christmas shopping period and the product below may just be a hot item this Xmas. Starmobile debuted the Engage 7i+ slate, which is an upgrade to the last year’s Engage 7i.
The newcomer brings higher end specs, including an Intel Atom X3 64 bit CPU, 1.5 GB of RAM and a 3000 mAh battery. There’s also 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. This one is a 7 inch slate with an IPS panel, that offers wide view angles, so it’s great for watching movies. Priced at $81, this model will be available in Philippines from the third week of November.
There’s also a 5 megapixel back camera here, a 2 MP front shooter, as well as a reasonably generous battery. This one is a dual SIM dual standby slate, with 3G/HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
