Sony has unveiled two fresh Xperia devices for the Japanese market, the Xperia ZL2, that’s pretty mysterious and the already known Xperia Z2 Tablet. The Xperia ZL2 is sort of a mini Z2, with a 5 inch Full HD display, making the phone a bit handier to use than the 5.2 inch monster.
The ZL2 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor inside, as well as 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, so you’re not missing out on any of the cool specs of the flagship. The Xperia Z2 Tablet is an older acquaintance of our, after seeing it at MWC 2014, where we played with it. This is supposed to be the world’s thinnest tablet, at 6.4 mm and it also comes with 3G/4G connectivity and weighs around 426 grams.
The WiFi only model weighs 439 grams. There’s a bit of a bundle here, since people who purchase the Xperia ZL2 and the Xperia Z2 Tablet will get a copy of the Michael Jackson XSCAPE album, a deal that was also applied to the Xperia Z2 and the Xperia Z1s. Which one of them are you going to get?
