Samsung appears to be expanding its Galaxy Tab lineup again—this time with a more affordable option. A new device believed to be the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has just made an appearance on Geekbench, giving us an early peek at its key specs and performance.
Listed under the model number SM-X406B, the tablet falls in line with Samsung’s typical naming pattern for its premium Tab S series. While not officially confirmed, all signs point to this being the Lite version of the upcoming Tab S10 family—positioned below the flagship Tab S11 and S11 Ultra, which are rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.
Instead, the Tab S10 Lite sticks with the Exynos 1380, a midrange SoC already used in devices like the Galaxy A54. With its octa-core setup (four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz) and Mali-G68 GPU, the chip should handle typical tablet tasks like streaming, web browsing, and light gaming without breaking a sweat. On Geekbench 5.5.1, the device scored 782 in the single-core test and 2,637 in multi-core—decent, but clearly mid-tier.
The listing also confirms 6GB of RAM and Android 15, likely running Samsung’s upcoming One UI 7. While we don’t yet know anything about display size, battery capacity, or camera setup, it’s safe to assume the Lite moniker means a trimmed-down spec sheet and a competitive price tag.
Given that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE (with a beefier Exynos 1580) starts around \$499, the S10 Lite could aim much lower—possibly closer to the $219 Galaxy Tab A9+. With Wi-Fi and LTE variants rumored, and prototypes clearly in the wild, an official announcement could be just around the corner.
Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but with Android 15 on board and benchmark scores in the public domain, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite might be ready to make its debut at the company’s next Unpacked event. Stay tuned.
