According to some reports, it seems that Samsung will not be the one to manufacture the next Apple’s A8 processor, that should be seen on the upcoming iPhone 6. This could happen because of the rising tension between the two companies.
Taiwanese media suggest that Samsung won’t be producing Apple’s A8 processors, and that the order for these chips have been handled entirely to TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company). This thing could also be happening because of the low yield production issues with the 20nm manufacturing process that Samsung it’s having.
Althought, Samsung could be the one to strike a deal with Apple for the next A9 processor. This chip will be developed using 16nm/14 nm technology.
