If you’re one of the current owners of the original Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, then you have a reason of happiness. Recently, a supposed Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmare for this tablet has been leaked. This means that soon, users can enjoy the experience of Android KitKat on their tablet that runs now Android 4.1.2 JellyBean.
It seems that Samsung decided to skip both the Android 4.2 and Android 4.3 updates and update the tablet straight to KitKat. Also, this week we find out that the Samsung Galaxy Note II phablet has started to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update, a model that was a little bit old on the market.
It’s expected that this update to Android 4.4 KitKat for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to be officially released in may/june. Untill then you can try and install a firmware from here. You must take in consideration that you make this on your own risk and we’re not responsible for any damages made to your device.
