Samsung held a big Unpacked event on July 26th and that’s when it unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, as well as the Galaxy Watch 6 series. That one includes a Classic model and regular Watch 6. They weren’t alone, as the South Koreans also unveiled a tablet series, the Galaxy Tab S9. It includes the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra, all of them detailed below.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra

The most powerful of the bunch, the Tab S9 Ultra comes with IP68 certification as an extra from its predecessor. It also brings the brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor. The screen is a 14.6 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 120 Hz refresh rate, plus the Vision Booster feature from the Galaxy S23 devices.

It improves screen visibility and colors in very bright conditions. The notch is still here and hosts two 12 MP front cameras, a regular one and ultrawide one meant for videocalls more than selfies. The quad speakers have AKG tuning and are 20% bigger now.

A change has been made at the back and now you can attach the stylus both ways, with the stylus facing towards left or right. The device runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top as the custom interface.

The product is priced at $1199 and comes in beige and graphite.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9+

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ has a 12.4 inch diagonal and a 120 Hz refresh rate. There’s also a dual camera setup at the back, with a 13 MP main shooter and 8 MP ultrawide cam. Both tablets have a Snapdragon 8 Gen processor for Galaxy. You can configure the Tab S9 with 8 GB of RAM or 12 GB, plus 128 or 256 GB storage.

The Plus version has 12 GB RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage. The Tab S9 has a 8400 mAh battery, while the Tab S9+ packs a 10.900 mAh unit. Both tablets support up to 45W fast charging. All Tab S9 models run Android 13 with One UI 5.1 and come with S Pen styluses bundled.

The regular Tab S9 starts at $799, while the Tab S9+ will be priced at $999. Open sales start on August 11th.
