Google chose to continue their collaboration with Samsung also for their new products, even after establishing new contracts with other manufacturers, such as Asus for the Nexus 7 and LG for the Nexus 4. Samsung’s task was to create the perfect 10-inch tablet and they managed to do it in a more than original manner.
The Nexus 10 is the only tablet on the market to offer the very high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels for its 10-inches screen. It offers a great design that is both sturdy and very comfortable to hold given the device’s sizes. One other important aspect in regards to it is that it offers a hardware configuration based on the Cortex A15 chip that coupled with the stock Android 4.2.2 OS provides a very slick and fast experience.
Given the fact that the Nexus 10 is one of the best tablets available on the market, Samsung is most likely looking to provide its own variant in order to promote its proprietary interface and apps. Specs wise, the Samsung Roma is expected to provide the same main aspects of the Nexus 10. Not even the design should suffer changes that are too obvious and so far the only notable addition should be the availability of both HSPA+ or LTE variants. No word so far about pricing and availability.
