Although the Galaxy Grand may seem pretty close to the definition of a cheap phablet, Samsung has some other plans for that area. Today on the web some info has surfaced regarding a new and cheaper version of the Galaxy Note, dubbed the Galaxy Pocket Neo, or the Galaxy Note Neo.

The device will come in a single SIM and dual SIM version and surprisingly the device will have a 3 inch display with QVGA resolution. With such a diagonal this is very far from a phablet, so I tend to believe that the Note branding may be fake. Other specs include a measly 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, WiFi and AGPS.

The size of the handset will be 11.8 mm in thickness and the new device is also 3G ready, just so you know. This model will be launched before week 20. Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo will come in silver and we expect a very low price tag here.

Gimmick of the Galaxy Note -series is the Wacom active digitizer pen and screen for accurate drawing and writing.
I missed any notice about that in the message about a cheap Note-version.
Could anyone clear this up? A stylus yes of no?
