Samsung has a whole series of tablets coming over the next few weeks and months and aside from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, we’ve also got the Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 XL and maybe a Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) and a few other versions. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 XL is an 10.5 inch machine that has already leaked in a bunch of hands on shots not very long ago and now it leaks again in features and specs.
The folks of Sammobile have managed to score a full and competent list of specs for the device. Thus we seem to be dealing with a 10.5 inch tablet with an IPS LCD panel that offers a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. The device is expected to have thicker bezels than the Galaxy Tab S4. Inside we should find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 CPU, plus 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
The product is also going to offer a microSD card slot, plus a main 8 MP camera and a front 5 MP shooter. Interestingly, the 7300 mAh battery we’ve heard about for the Tab S4 will be present here too, with fast charging also available. Dual band WiFi is a part of the features, plus Bluetooth 4.2 and Android 8.1 Oreo is also in the mix, with a custom UI on top. Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 will lack a fingerprint scanner or face/iris recognition.
Still, facial recognition based on the front camera may happen. Odds are that the Tab A2 XL will be launched on August 1st, when Samsung has scheduled an event separate from Note 9 on August 9th.
