It appears that Samsung is preparing Lite versions of already existing products, with a focus on tablets. There are rumors about a Galaxy Note 3 Lite and Galaxy Grand Lite and today we learn there may also be a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.
The newcomer is codenamed SM-T11 and it’s supposed to debut soon, around the second week of January. There are no details available for the specs of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, but we know that it will have a price of around 100 euros and it will be the cheapest Samsung tablet ever. This model would fight the likes of Nexus 7 and other cheaper slates like those that Acer made.
This way Samsung will compete with Chinese device makers and you should know that the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will come in both WiFi and 3G versions. The WiFi version will debut in Cream White and it will reach the stores in week two of 2014, followed by the 3G model in week three. There will also be an Ebony Black color option, coming in with 3G and WiFi in weeks 4 and 6.
