Samsung Galaxy S5 has finally arrived on our testing table and we’re playing with it as we speak. In the meantime we’ve done an unboxing of the device, shown in the video below. The box of the handset looks very much like the Galaxy S4’s, with that wooden imitation.
Inside we find similar accessories too, like the headphones, USB cable and charger, almost identical to the predecessor’s. The Galaxy S5 debuted in stores on April 11th and it’s priced at around $199.99 on contract on all big US carriers. This is a full HD Super AMOLED 5.1 inch handset, with a Snapdragon 801 quad core 2.5 GHz CPU and 2 GB of RAM.
It also has a 2800 mAh battery, that’s more narrow and long than the S4 battery. This device relies on a 16 megapixel camera with 4K video capture at the back, plus it comes with a fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensor. It has 16/32 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, LTE, infrared and it’s waterproof and dust proof.
We’ll be back with a very, very detailed review ASAP. In the meantime you can get the product from Amazon.
