The Android 4.3 update was said to arrive on the likes of Galaxy S III and Note II this month and the next and the first signs of the rollout are starting to appear. The Note II has been getting the new software at Samsung’s service centers.

At least one lucky user in India did it, getting his Note II update from a local service center. The build number firmware here is N7100XXUEMJ9 and the build date is October 31st, so this is brand new software. Changes that the software brings include compatibility with the Galaxy Gear, a tabbed settings UI and some TouchWiz modifications.

We’ll probably also get a few new features for the S Pen on the Galaxy Note II. By the way, Android 4.3 should arrive on the S III and Note II with apps like Samsung Knox and Samsung Wallet bundled. Did you get your update? Is it working?
