Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is already available in USA, in the WiFi only version, but the LTE version should be coming soon. The LTE unit has just hit the FCC with 850/1900 GSM radio, plus LTE bands 2, 4, 5 and 17.

note-8

This means that the device will work on AT&T’s 4G LTE network and the rest of the specs stay the same. The slate runs Android Jelly Bean and packs a quad core 1.6 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, AGPS, Glonass and a 4600 mAh battery. WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 are also present here and you should know that we’ve also got a stylus in the mix, probably the selling point of the device.

Why is this slate important? Well, because it’s reasonably cheap and because it seems to dictate the design of the following Samsung tablets. The only problem is I’m not sure there’s a market for such a device. If you already own a 5+ inch device and you buy a stylus for it and download specific apps, it’s more than enough… What do you think?
